Gordon Sluis, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician at The Vicksburg Clinic.

Dr. Sluis completed his undergraduate studies at Covenant College located in Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. He later received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. His completed his internship and residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sluis' professional interest include management of gastroenteritis, pediatric infectious diseases, illness prevention and health maintenance in children and immunizations.

Dr. Sluis is involved with many professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, The Luke Society, and the Mississippi State Medical Association. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by The American Board of Pediatrics. He is involved with local organizations, including the Vicksburg Child Abuse Prevention Center and Westminister Presbyterian Church.
